You can permanently delete your Stampede account and the data associated with it at any time. There are two ways to do it, both free. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Option 1: In the app (instant)

Open Stampede and go to Settings → Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm twice. Your account and data are removed immediately and you are signed out.

Option 2: By email (no app needed)

If you have uninstalled the app, or simply prefer not to open it, email [email protected] with the subject line “Delete my account”.

To protect your account, send the request from the email address your Stampede account was created with (for Sign in with Apple, that can be the private “Hide My Email” relay address; replies to it reach you normally). We verify that the sender matches the account, confirm by reply, and complete the deletion within 30 days, typically much sooner.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in identity (email, Apple or Google sign-in link).
• Your profile: username, favorite league and team, and profile photo.
• Every vote you cast.
• Your comments, including replies beneath them.
• Your follows and followers.
• Your notifications, inbox items, and shared-card records.
• Your push-notification tokens.

What is kept

Aggregate vote totals shown on cards (for example “72% said Good Deal”) are running counts. Your individual votes are deleted, and the totals are numbers only, no longer connected to you or any account. No other personal data is retained after deletion.

Deleting some data without deleting your account

• Delete any of your comments from the “…” menu on the comment.
• Change your username, team, or profile photo at any time in the app.
• Turn push notifications off, by category or entirely, in Settings.
• For anything else (including a copy of your data), email [email protected].
